GRIP. op werk (statutory name Workpartners Noord Industrie Services B.V., hereinafter: “GRIP.”, “we” or “us”), registered at Filosofentuin 1, 2908 XA Capelle aan den IJssel, the Netherlands, KvK number 51840243, attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we process, for what purpose, on what legal basis, and what rights you have. This statement has been drawn up in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (UAVG).
Who this statement applies to
This privacy statement applies to all visitors to our website, job seekers and candidates who register with us, and temporary workers, secondees and payroll employees who work or have worked through GRIP.
What personal data we process
Of candidates and job seekers: name, address and place of residence, email address and phone number, date of birth, curriculum vitae, education and training records, availability and work experience data, references, and any other information you share with us as part of your application or registration.
Additionally, of placed temporary workers, secondees and payroll employees: bank account number, nationality, Citizen Service Number (BSN) and copy of identity document, work permit details where applicable, results of a pre-employment screening (where applicable), and other data necessary for payroll administration.
Of website visitors: data collected via cookies and similar technologies, such as IP address, browsing behaviour and device data. Which cookies we place exactly, and for what purpose, is set out in our separate cookie statement.
What we use your data for
We process your personal data for the following purposes: assessing your suitability for a position and mediating employment; entering into and performing the employment contract, hiring agreement or assignment, including payroll administration; complying with legal obligations, such as identification requirements, payroll tax and pension registration; maintaining contact with you, for example about open vacancies or the progress of your application; and improving our services and website, including through the analytics tools mentioned below.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the basis of: the performance of the (employment) agreement with you, compliance with a legal obligation, your consent (for example for certain cookies or retaining your application data for longer), or our legitimate interest in efficient and responsible business operations.
Who we share your data with
We may share your data with clients where you are placed, subcontractors and suppliers who support us (for example payroll processing or IT), government authorities where there is a legal obligation to do so, and other business relations to the extent necessary for the performance of our services. For website analytics and marketing purposes, we use the following third parties, which process (limited) personal data in doing so: Google (analytics), Leadinfo and Cookiebot. More details, including retention periods per party, can be found in our cookie statement. We have entered into a data processing agreement with all parties that process personal data on our behalf.
We never sell your data to third parties.
Retention period
We do not retain your personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as required by law (for example the 7-year statutory retention obligation for payroll records). Data of candidates who have not been placed is retained for a maximum of four weeks after the application process, unless you give us permission to retain it for longer (up to a maximum of one year) for future vacancies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing. You can contact us using the details below to exercise these rights. We respond within one month of your request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
